Turned In My Resignation

Well, I did it. I officially resigned from my teaching position. I will finish the school year and then....I'm retired, again!

I've really missed having the time to go to the parks and DTD. I went to DTD yesterday for the first time in a month. That's pretty sad, since I live ten minutes away. I just haven't felt up to it lately.

Once school is out, I plan on relaxing and, hopefully putting my health issues behind me. I can't think of a better way to relax than sitting at a WDW park doing a little people watching!

And...I'll probably have a little more time on the DIS!

Congratulations on your re-retirement!!

I remember last summer when you posted about getting the teaching position. I think I congratulated you but to myself was thinking, "Once I retire (I'm a teacher), I'm going to work in WDW & NOTHING will take me back to teaching!"

I'm glad you'll just get to relax & have fun at the parks.

Congratulations on your re-retirement, I would love to retire tomorrow if I could (I'm a teacher too) but I have 35 more years to go!!!!!! I hope you have fun being able to spend more time at WDW, I wish I had that to look forward to in 35 years time!

At this point, my only plan is to relax and spend some "me" time. Kendall will be home for the summer and we may do some traveling. We haven't been back to KC in over two years and I haven't seen one of my brothers in three years. So, we may take a trip to San Diego. After that, I have no idea what I'll be doing. Whatever I decide to do, it won't be fulltime.
