Then notice how EVERY INSTANCE of EVERY ROOM everwhere along Main Street is FULL with a three-mickey rating. And notice how several other rooms come up as "Room not available".

My guess is that VMK is *way* the heck overloaded and is cracking under the strain.

The front page shows there are only 1600 people in the game right now. I'll seen over 3000 in the game at once and not have this problem.

This is crazy.... I feel sorry for all the staff at VMK who are frantically trying to get VMK back up againg right now.

I'm sure its possible that there is an overload problem. What I don't understand though is two things. First, its not that hard based on past events and normal weekend traffic to anticipate what the load is going to be. Second, on the front page it says there are just over 1700 people in the kingdom. Thats about half what I would expect on an event weekend. Even normal weekends and weeknights have been 2700 to 3000. Actually there is a third thing that boggles my mind too. How can there be so much overload with so many of us not even able to get in? From reading other posts you've done I can tell you're much more technically literate than me, so can you answer any of this?

One thing I did find out from another community leader who has one of her rooms as part of the maze this weekend is that they disabled the friend list so that people could not cheat and just enter the last room when their friend got their to get a prize without going through the maze. Not sure if that was true or not, but it made me feel better anyway that my friend list should reappear later. BTW, I got this information from her by way of PM on another board, she isn't able to get in to her own room or anywhere else to help either.

not that this is not correct, it was my understanding that they were not giving out prizes at the end you just left the Staff member on duty took down you name and a prize appeared later.

Yeah, that is right. I forgot about reading that too. I have no idea why our friend list was diabled then or missing or whatever, but of course thats just one of a bunch of stuff that wasn't right today, and I'm sure we'll never have the answers to. I don't know what to make of these event weekends anymore. Seems there is always something that isn't quite right starting from the first one I participated in which was the celebration and space room contest. On one hand it does generate some excitement in the game, but on the other, it always seems to leave a wake of disappointed people.
