Can you request a turn down service at Poly even if you're booked at garden view? If so, how do you tip them? Do you leave an envelop before you leave the room? Thanks!

I did last trip and only got it half the time and not even a full turn down. Most nights they forgot. The other nights sometimes it was just new towels, other nights just turned down beds. One night chocolate and nothing else. I left a tip every night. Now I forgo turndown service.

Thanks Terry. Sorry the service you recieve was "spotty." I think I'll still request it and see what happens. There's just the three of us, so is it like tipping the mousekeeping? $3 a night? Where do you leave the tip so they can see it?

Anyone else? Since it's Saturday, I'm sure most of you are out and about. If anyone else have done the turn down serive while staying at the garden view, please share your experience. Thanks!!

When we stay at the GF we usually tip $2 for Turndown Service. ( We usually tip $4 for housekeeping each day because there are 4 of us.) We figured half of what we tip Housekeeping was reasonable for Turndown. We leave it in an envelope and write "Turndown" on the front of it before we leave that morning for the parks. I hope this helps! :flower:

I always leave the tip for the housekeepers (both the daytime housekeepers and the evening housekeepers) tucked inside the little card with their names written in it. (I have never not found a card in the room on which they have written their names down, introducing themselves as our housekeeper). I then leave the card with the cash tucked inside out on the center of the bathroom counter. I think this leaves no doubt that the money is for the housekeeper. At least, we've never come back to find the money still there. lol

P.S. I know all about the "Mousekeeping envelopes" and I think they are a cute idea, but it's just not something I've ever done.
