Is turn down service available if not staying CL?

All rooms at the Grand Floridian are supposed to get turn down service...although some recent posts suggest that it has been spotty in some of the outer buildings....

When we stayed January 16-23, theme park view, we had a notice that we would only receive turn down service if we requested it.

We stayed in a non-CL theme park view room in the summer of 2016 and got turn-down service.

It is something you have to request now.
