I always see people eating those Turkey Legs and I have yet to try one. Every trip I say to my DH I am getting one of those and I never do. Are they worth trying??? How good are they?

Thanks!

well, my husband gets one at MGM every trip. he likes them; you will get varying opinions on the turkey legs. go for it and you decide. happy eating!

To get a wide range of opinions on Turkey Leg's,some love them I'm in that crowd and many who hate them a big bunch in that crowd to.I think this one item you need to try and then decide which lovem or hatem crowd you are in.Hey if we all enjoyed the same kind of food, eating would become boring quickly,right?:wave2:

I wouldn't touch them~ But, my DH is drooling right now thinking about them! He can't wait to get one. It is one thing he has to eat every time he goes to DW!!! Me, I'd rather have a :mickeybar !!

Try it, you may like it!! :teeth:

My DH hates turkey, but I insisted we get one of those things on our last trip. He hasn't told anyone about the trip without mentioning how good it was. They are huge, and juicy and smokey, and yum...I wish there were a stand outside my door now with them.

The only reason why I won't try one is that you really don't know what the quality or the state of the turkey leg is actually is due to smoking it. It could be the worth piece of turkey and you would never know.

Hmm.. I tried one and it was REALLY underdone and REALLY juicy . Blech. I didn't care for it at all. I was hoping for a huge chunk of meat, and instead it was tough, juicy underdone turkey.

Mmmmm....Turkey Leg....:p

Followed up with a Mickey Ears Ice Cream bar!

I don't care for them, but they're only about $5, so try it for yourself. :p
ecugrad2003, they are sold at kiosks around the parks, the only one I know the location for sure is at the MK, over in Frontierland (across from Country Bears).

You either luv them or hate them. Some people complain that they have too much of a smokey ham taste and are fatty. I personally luv those turkey legs, and a trip to DW would not be complete unless I have had several.
Men seem to prefer them over women, must be that caveman instinct! You are making me hungry just thinking about them! Disney keeps adding new places to buy them so the turkey cult must be growing!!

It must be a caveman thing!! My DH looks like FRED FLINTSTONE when eating his!!!

:rotfl:

At MGM they have them at the food court down the street from the entrance to Fantasmic! It's called Talouca Legs...I just laugh every time I see it!!
