My sister and BIL are gaga over the turkey legs but we've never had one. What is the name of the place they are sold and where is it located? Is it a restaurant or a stand? Also, do they sell anything else there? Turkey legs only?

It is a stand just outside Frontierland in Magic Kingdom Close to the water, adjacent to Peco's Bill's Restaurant and Cafe. The Turkey legs are $8 they have small bags of chips for $3, and bottles of soda for $3 and bottles of water for either $3 or 3.50. They are not eligible for snack credits.

I believe they also sell the Turkey Legs at the American Pavillion at EPCOT. Something about a nod to Ben Franklin wanting the turkey to be the national bird.

And here's a question: our guide told us on the Segway tour that Disney cast members were Forbidden to EVER eat a Turkey Leg (on duty or off) under penalty of termination. Was he pulling our legs? Urban legend or not? Anyone know?

It's also listed at the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland and Safari Turkey at the Animal Kingdom. My 14 year old son has made it his trip mission to eat at least one turkey leg when we go there in a few weeks. :rotfl2:

Not a snack credit, but with chips and a drinl you can redeem a CS meal credit for them.

There is a place to buy turkey legs in each of the 4 parks, sometimes more than one location!
