Turkey Lake info?

Hi all,

We have a 10 day stay planned at FW for June 09 and we also have 10 day tix. We will probably park the trailer in the parking lot on the day we check out, hit the parks, and then just move the trailer to a local RV park in the late afternoon or evening. Never done this before, so I don't know much about the other parks in Orlando.

I have heard about Turkey Lake and have found a one-page web site about it through the Orlando city parks site. Doesn't give much info about the park. Anyone here know anything about it?

How much does it cost? Does it have full hookups? How do you make reservations? Anything else that might be useful info for me?

We almost stayed at Turkey Lake just three weeks ago, on our way to Disney. At the last minute, we ended up doing another night at Disney instead. That said, rvparkreviews has great things to say about Turkey Lake. I would say, check the site out.

I stay at Turkey Lake regularly and it is a nice campground. I think they have a few full hookups with sewer but mostly just water/electric. They have a dump station on the way out though. It's $15 a night for w/e. Here is the number and a link with some pics of the grounds. BTW, it's about 10 minutes to US/IOA if you're doing those parks. That's usually when we stay. 407-299-5581.

I just booked Turkey Lake for next June for the day we leave FW. BTW, they do have full hook-ups for $18. That's what I booked.
