Hi!
I know some of you Fellow Fort Fiends have been to Turkey Lake Campground in Orlando before. We cannot seem to find any pixs of it. Is it clean? Nice? Are the campsites big? Shady? It mentions that they have a pool. Is it close to the campground?
$25 a day seems to good to be true!
We would really appreciate your help on this since I am counting on the opinions of others.

Thank you,
Nikki:)

Here's their website.

http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Florida/Orlando.html

Click on the view on map tab, and it will show you an aerial view of the park. You can zoom in and move around to see the lake, pool, sites, clubhouse, etc. It's not a picture, per se, but is an actual birds eye view at the RV park.

Thank you! I checked out the website and the info was helpful!

Great pictures! That helps give us an idea of what it is like there. Looks nice for the price! We may give it a try....trying to think about the pros and cons Vs. staying at the Fort etc...We love the Fort but may do the Universal thing instead...Too bad Turkey Lake doesn't provide transportation to Universal! That is the big perk of Disney...transportation b/c we don't tow our car.

Than you!!!!!!!!!!

Most folks seem to like Turkey Lake for what it is.

It's near Universal Studios.

It's near the Turnpike.

It's affordable, basic, and adequate for the overnight stay.

Folks on this board have generally given it good reviews when they can't get in the Fort or Tropical Palms. It does not have resort amenities so as long as you set expectations properly it's fine.
