Turkey day trip, Nov solo trip

So I was looking for some feed back for Thanksgiving time around WDW. I am leaveing the 22nd of Nov. So wanted to get a idea of what to expect,MVMCP, osbourn lights does EPCOT do anything?. Crowd wise, I am use to going in April through Oct. Weather to???, is it cooler,does it still give that afternoon rain shower. I am and avid golfer,i play at least twice when i am down there to, so the weather is helpfull partner. For you POP century folks, how Is it, do they put up Christmas decos?. I am going the whole summer with out WDW fix, so i can see WDW for Christmas

We went this past Thanksgiving Week 2011 from the Sat before to the Sat after. There was no MVMCP that week. The CP and Holidays around the World which is at EPCOT began the day after Thanksgiving. I recommend a lunch/dinner package to ensure you get a seat at CP. Most of the decorations at the resorts and parks were up. A few evenings we took time to resort hop at the MK resorts GF, CR, Poly, WL, FW and at the EPCOT resorts BC, YC, BW. The tree at MK does not appear until after the parade taping the first weekend of Dec. Osbourne Lights were amazing. The crowds weren't too bad at all the days went to the different parks. We went to AK on Thanksgiving Day. Where are you staying?
