I'm trying really, really hard not to follow this board in the chance that we DON'T take the cruise. I know that the more I read, the more disappointed I'll be.

So I won't comment on how nice that design is, and pretend that I didn't see it.

Ooooo! Wendy - love that! If you get a chance-- my cruise/survivor logo many pages back needs serious help. I got a 30day trial period to photo shop and just didn't have the time to figure out what on earth I was doing. Can't wait to see the shirt ideas.

Wow are these pages moving fast now - I can't keep up . But you all talking about hitting the parks before hand has made me seriously jealous. So we 86'd our plans for discovery cove after the cruise and booked a hotel room at disney for saturday night when we get off the ship. The kids and I have have one day left on a multi day pass so we'll get our park fix.

Did anyone just get the announcement that the newest princess movie with the frog is out with limited release on Nov 25 in LA & NY?? It would be fantastic if they would release it on the ship too. Otherwise it looks like its not out until Dec 11.

I'm amazed at how fast we're moving now. So, if Lisa is getting into double digits that must mean we're not far behind. We leave on 11/19 but really counting to the cruise.

Lisa -- don't worry about the inside cabin. My parents cruised all over the place and they always had an inside cabin and were quite happy. According to my mother, they didn't spend enough time in the room to worry about it.

Paula-- Maybe we can meet up some weekend and introduce the kids??? We talked about this awhile back.

OH MY GOSH I LOVVVE that --- is that a tshirt pic or something...

we have moved our rooms from deck two to an inside room - yet to be determined - and it is looking very gloomy for Sis and her family to be able to attend - need lots of pixie dust for this one...

I am glad we are paid in full for this cruise and vacation - DH and I are getting hit hard by the economics and what is going on at our local organization...::SIGH:: it appers this will be our last vacation for quite a while....

Hope that things get better ! I know that you will make the most of this cruise and it will be a great time.

Hey there,

Question for all those who own DVC. If you have any "extra" points rotfl2:) that you'd be interested in "renting" to Steve, Andrew and I, we're looking for a studio at any DVC resort for 11/19 and 11/20 (before the cruise). We're booked at Wilderness Lodge right now, but as Jodie (thank you!) pointed out...we'd likely save a bit of $$ if we rented points from someone. I've posted on the R/T Board too...but thought I'd ask those that I know (and who know me).

Me too! Too bad we can't get this one on a T-shirt (my understanding from last time is that there is a licensing issue and while we can make our own designs getting them professionally printed is a problem!).

That's an awesome idea. I've seen the iron on transfer paper at Michael's. Anyone game for this idea? (i.e., you print it, pick your shirt, iron it on and wear it?) It would help us get around "licensing" issues. But I'm still game for the silk screened too...whatever the consensus is works for me!

I like having the T-Shirts printed by a professional. I only speak for myself, but the Iron On ones can really be a pain to make.

I will go with whatever we decide, but it is really cool, when everyone looks alike.

I think we have to go with something generic. We really cannot use the Disney designs at all.

I liked what we used in 2007, maybe with a different color?

I like that idea too. Maybe go with an ocean blue color (you know...not too dark, not too teal...not too light) and then maybe dark blue or white or black lettering?

I'll find the printer's email and see what he can tell me.

Well now that many of the "gang" is now official, I make one last attempt at a dinner link...although the person responsible for handling thelinks is no longer there, as much of that level was unfortunately let go - yes even Disney has been affected by the economy - I understand a link to still be possible if there is interest...so Karen, Wendy, Rob/Priscilla, Lampy, and all the others, please let me know either here, or preferably by PM or at icelaw21@aol.com if there is interest for second seating link and I will set it up if there is sufficient interest. Please note that there no longer are 3 times to choose from...instead all 2nd seatings are now at 8:15.

And yes, I will be spending most of CC day at the volleyball courts, in the hardcore game of course (but there are 2 courts).
