Turkey Day Gang 2009 Thread #2

My boys got their T-shirts today and I love the color too!! I'm still considering using the tshirts as part of revealing the surprise of the cruise. Will someone have name tags? I'm going to have a hard time remembering people's real name compared to their screen name!

My DH is still up in the air about going!! I checked today to see how long we had to change the name and she said up until 72 hours. We'll know before then. I have a friend at work on stand by. If he's not excited about going, I would rather take someone who is and who has never been on a cruise. Of course I would rather him go because it is Thanksgiving and our little one minds him a lot better than me!!

BTW, is someone gonna do a navigator for Turkey Gang activities? (i.e. Bunco, photo shoot, etc) If not I can volunteer to create one. Just need to know all the proposed events.

I got your gang added to our Mini Navigator. It will be a handy list to keep with you with all the names and floors. I have included the map and FE list for everyone.

Just finished the Mini Navigator this evening. I will be at the port early handing them out. DD made name tags also. ( I should probably post mini navigtor - note to self. Chun, i will post this week and we can see if we need to add anything. DD added a DISboard pin trading session. She wants to host it with her friend Andrew ( HE IS A PRO)...

Hi everyone,

I'm so glad many of you got your shirts today! Did anyone NOT get theirs? If so, don't despair...you will likely get them tomorrow. I thought they turned out well and I'm happy to hear that you did too.

Now I have a favor to ask....do you think we could all get together on Saturday (somewhere) with a photographer to get our photos taken for Chris and Nanci (the wonderful t-shirt printers)? I'd love to send them a photo of us all in our shirts -- I know they'd get a bang out of it!

Whoever is doing name tags....can you do 1 that says Pixie Dust for Me, 1 that says The Duck Stops Here and one that says Pixie Dust's Silent Hubby? Poor Steve lives in a house of Disboarders....and we still can't get him to post. I don't know what's wrong with him.........clearly he needs an education!

Wendy, I'm sorry about not even thinking to ask if anyone wanted a special shirt for a critter. We always get one for Spot...Youth XS...in case you want to in the future.

Is anyone planning on trying to book for Turkey Day 2010 or Turkey Day 2011? This has been such a wonderful group (the 2008 Turkey Day Gang must have been full of stick in the muds)...I'd love to sail with you all again!

What's the Hoe Down Throw Down? Sounds like fun!

Dance from the Hannah Montanna movie....you will hear it on the ship plenty.

Whoever it was that had the daughter and the softball game, I would strongly advise against trying it no matter how close to the port you are. One accident on the highway and you are meeting us in St. Thomas. The rules have changed the past year or so from Customs. If you are not on the ship by, I think (Michelle please verify this) 4pm, you will not get on it.

Chuck you are right!!! Now that was Morgey and she is a 45min drive away. Though I would not do it....last Spring we had friends that came after their daughters soccer game. They made it by like 2 or 3 I think
