It will be just hubby and me. I have The Turf Club booked but I am not hearing much about it so was thinking about trying The Wave. We are looking for good food but appreciate atmosphere-we are not into horses(like turf club) and prefer a quieter atmosphere. I am hearing that the wave is more of an adult atmosphere.

I would appreciate any input Thank you

We actually just did both in June. We did SSR our first night because we were staying there for a few nights. It was really good. The chef we had was wonderful and very accommodating for my allergies. I really enjoyed it because t was the ony place I ate bread all week (they are the only ones I found with safe bread for me).

We ate at the wave twice for luch and once for dinner. All three times were wonderful and the chefs again were amazing....all three of them. The servers were very good as well. We ate there three times because we stayed at CR for our last few days there. But we would make the trip to CR again to go t the Wave.

The Wave was pretty quietbut there are definitely kids there but it was definitely much quieter during dinner than lunch. TS a small restaurant so it's not overwhelming and not completely crazy. We really really enjoyed it.

Thank you for your input but it didn't help me make up my mind but my gut is leaning toward the wave

I'm not certain if you are looking for input on why the Turf Club is a good choice, or if you are looking for someone to validate your changing to the Wave?

If you want input on the Turf Club, I will share that I found the menu to be interesting and my dinner, the Root Beer Pork Chop with sweet potatos was amazing! I really enjoyed that it was "outside the box" for typical Disney menus. DH has a great piece of beef....eveyone else loved their meals. I also liked that it was a bit out of the way. The atmosphere really helped me relax and let the hustle and bustle of the parks go away for a bit.

Best of luck with whatever place you choose....:)

thank you that is what I was looking for. Turf club does sound good

We had our best meal of the trip at Turf Club last trip. They do a great job making their menu a bit different and the service was wonderful. The Wave is OK but it's not super quiet or as nice to me as Turf Club.

Thanks. How far do you have to walk to get to the Turf club? That was another issue. Hubby has some issues walking and by the end of the day i don't know how much he can tolerate. (He is a proud Scotsman and would not hear of a wheelchair)

The parking by the lobby isn't really for dinner use but in your situation I would think you should drop him by the front door and go park. It,s not a long walk from the lobby and there are no stairs. There are 2 long corridors basically.

We will not be driving but will be using Disney transportation of some sort
