How many Mass people are now afraid to go in a tunnel after the other days disaster where one women gets kill when part of the bridge collapses? I am the first to admit, I was always afraid of tunnels but now even more so. That was so sad, the poor family

Very sad, and very disturbing. I fear this isn't the last time something like this will happen, given the prevailing societal environment while the tunnels were being built.

My heart goes out to the family. What a tragedy and it sounds like it could have been avoided. My DH travels that section of road every single day and I'm usually on it once or twice a week. Very scary.

I was in Boston yesterday and had to go through the 93 tunnel. I was not too happy about having to go through it after seeing what happened in the other tunnel :guilty:

Just when you thought the Big Dig couldn't get any worse, this happens.

Makes me kinda grateful I'm flying SW out of PVD the next couple of trips
