Tuffcookie is having emergency gall bladder surgery this evening

Longtime DISer Tuffcookie called my home earlier this evening and spoke to my daughter. She went to the hospital and they are doing emergency gall bladder surgery as a preventative measure. That's all I know. She asked if I would post something on the DIS so that her friends would know. If I find out anything more, I'll post the information. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I suffered with mine for 7 months before I got diagnosed and had surgery 2 weeks later. Never had an "emergency" surgery, as with anything I get diagnosed right away.
