The platypus is a carnivore, surviving on worms, insect larvae, flies and small shrimps (yabbies) and other small water borne species.

Funny you should ask. I was just talking to someone about that! It turns out that for the duck billed platypus, breeding takes place in late Winter/early Spring, earlier in the north of the range.

OK, but let's cut to the chase. Here's the million dollar question. Is it true that the platypus have no nipples???

Oddly yes. They seem to secret the milk from their skin for the young blind hairless hatchlings.

I suppose it's possible. It's getting near 100. But most of these lightweights are in bed by now. I think a good percentage of them are kinda getting up there in years.

Even more interesting:While black is the most common color of the Sasquatch, they have been on many occasions reported to be several different colors. The colors that have been reported are as follows: Dark Brown, Reddish Brown, Light Brown, Black/Brown mixture, Grey, Grey/Black mixture, and White. White Sasquatch are very rare
