Evening All.

I work in the town with that roundabout (Swindon if you must know) and it is truly scary when driving on it.

Only experience comparable is trying to cross the road by the L'Arc de Triomphe in Paris - no road signs, lane markings or lights - you literally take your life in your hands when crossing it

Hi Sparky! Thanks for the pictures... I didn't know that a roundabout was also a merry-go-round. Learn something new everyday here on the riddle...

so are you packed yet?

I am not packed yet... am trying to get dh to get his clothes together so I can pack while he's at work tomorrow... at least all the washing is done...

So excited about our trip

By the way I have also finally found out who Tour Guide Mike is... but dh was wondering if he is the same thing as those Talking Mickey toys you can get out there???!!!

Why are your circles going the wrong way:confused3

Hey everyone... Here is the magic roundabout that us Brits (of a certain age) enjoyed as children...

Hey, it's Doogal and Co! And they aren't computer animated! So, was that like a kids TV show over in the UK at some point or something? Because I only know it as a movie.

Yes I watched it as a child... I was reawlly suprised that no-one recognised it from the movie...

"'Time for bed' said Zebeddee" was something we all knew very well... I liked Dougal the dog best though

Ok bratboy!! Why the hell do you know this?

Oh yeah!!! I had to do that when I was in the postal service, it came very natural to me :rolleyes1

Although Angel, when I go on holiday to VB later this week, I will have to drive on the other side of the road

Yes we drive on the left.. In Ireland they drive on the left too, but they are changing to the right... but so as not to be too drastic they are bringing in the changes gradually! (sorry to any Irish people here for this comment)

no- TGM is a website that you pay to join, in exchange you get tour plans/tips/guides etc... he is a former Disney employee but a separate company from Disney

Pal Mickey is the toy that you can buy... it communicates with the mothership throughout the park to give you tips, jokes etc... obviously Disney runs Mickey

Thanks twinkie... I didn't think it could be the same thing... Who he was had been puzzling me from the time I joined the site until today... I couoldn't understand why my question should have been noticed by the tag fairy until I spotted the big ads everywhere...

Thank you for sharing your knowledge Twinkie

I don't know what we would do without you :thumbsup2

If you'd watch TV a little more :p, you'd know they made a computer animated movie (apparently based off of the show, but I didn't know it was a show at the time). The movie was called Doogal, and yes, it was released in the US and had mostly American voice actors. I just saw it a few months ago. Obviously a very kiddie movie, but not bad overall. Pretty funny.
