Tuesday Morning-- Disney Dishes!

A friend sent me the link to the Tuesday Morning ad for this week and they are supposed to have Disney tableware starting Tuesday (of course!). They are really cute, white porcelain dishes with black sketches of the characters. I think the price said $5-$6-- not sure if that is per piece of if they will be sets.

I saw the ad too! They are adoroable, love the sketch style. I amy head over there...but should not spend, but would like to see them in person.

The price is for each piece.

They also had them at Gloria Jean's Coffee in our mall.

Edited to add...The merchandise in their ad isn't available until Tuesday.

I was hoping they would sell them in sets of four for that price but it's still a good deal. Think I'll let DH take a look and see if he likes them.

Now I can see the ad, I have to get over there. I have the dishes from Disney a year and a half ago, black and white, and always wished there were more serving pieces. This says there will be. I have never been to Tuesday Morning, but will be tomorrow. Thanks!!!!

Not a silly question, it was my first one too! The ad says they are porcelain -- so they should be glass. I thought they looked like melamine in the picture. I really hope they are porcelain! I plan to be there in the morning to find out!

ETA: I have to decide if I want to only get a 4 piece set or go for 6!

Are there any coupons for Tuesday Morning?

Very rarely, and the only coupon I can recall seeing was for an extra percentage off of clearance merchandise. Tuesday Morning is a discounter so their prices are already pretty good most of the time.

To the previous poster looking for serving pieces, I'd be there when they open. They've had my discontinued dishes there on and off the last few years, and every time they get them in they don't get many serving pieces and they always go quickly.

Also wanted to mention I saw a couple mugs at Ross that looked just like what's in the Tuesday Morning ad. I think they were $4.99. I didn't see anything else, but it might be worth checking if you don't get what you want at TM.

Just want to mention that I have a couple of different Disney dish sets that I got from disneyshopping on clearance. A warning, both sets are not microwaveable and one is not dishwasher safe, might want to check if that is important to you. I still use the non-microwaveable pretty often, but rarely use the ones that can't go in the dishwasher.

Just checked the ad and they are dishwasher and microwave safe according to the ad.....and they open at 7 am tomorrow. Meanwhile I thought this was supposed to be a budget board and all I am finding is new things to spend money on! I will be there bright and early tomorrow to get mine!

Som did anyone else get these??? I had to to to 3 stores but I was able to get an entire set (I actually ended up with 8 place settings), and 2 serving bowls and a platter.

I was rather ticked because the 2nd store I went to was almost completely out of most of the dishes because they had sold them the night before! And the 1st store was completely sold out except for 2 plates and she thought they might have sold some of it the night before also.

Fortunately the 3rd store had a good selection. And they said that they absolutely did not sell anything before Tuesday Morning!

In the future if I see something I want I will be getting there on Monday night.

I'd be mad, too! I'd be tempted to complain to corporate, they are not supposed to do that. If they get in trouble they'll stop doing it. I've never heard of a TM selling stuff early.

I have a few of those dishes that a friend gave me last year. She said she got them at T.J. Maxx. I am almost positive these are the same ones.
