The Cast: Me 30 something total planner for holiday
DW 30 something likes a quiet life
DD 13 going on 21 total poser has an answer for everything
DS 10 nearly 11 loves soccer and winding us up
Today I had managed to convince the kids to get up early si we could be at gates by 8.30 am to ride the hulk front of row so we all where up for 7.30 am to get ready cookies and juice for breakfast we where at gates for 8.30 am they opened at 8.45 am by 9.00 am hulk twice front of row by 9.15 we rode 4 other rows wife passed on this delight she did front of row once and 2 other times by 10.00 am we had done Hulk, Spidey, Dr Doom we left IOA and got some strange looks when leaving this early we headed over to USO did Shrek, Jimmy, basically full park incl MIB about 5 times now we had not got a score yet that put us below agent today was no exception we had lunch at Louies a large BBQ pizza to share $14.48 after discount this was cheaper than flippers and it was great today was a little chilly because of the wind about 4.30 pm I went to Finnegans to get a happy hour beer and to get my place for Blues Brother show wife was flagging now she had shopped and was ready to drop was pleased that she had got a visor on offer at $8 after discount $6.50 was meant to be $18 so she had done her usual saving me money today I told her to go back to the room as after the show we where going back to IOA to do Hulk and Spidey so off she went the Blues was really good but when I looked at my kids I felt a very bad parent they where standing there shivering and boy where they acting it up so what do people see this bug guy with a beer and two kids huddling together for warmth, so off we went to buy sweatshirts for them which was their plan by the way but I had a plan as well as in the woody store they where on offer but DD to big so DS got fleece $10 DD got ET sweat shirt $18 then it was off to IOA for Hulk & Spidey before we left IOA I hit backwater for a last happy hour beer this cost me 1 chocolate alligator with gummies we got back to room about 7.10 pm DW was sound asleep so we woke her up as we had reservations at Tchoup Tchoup for 9 pm we all showered and put on our fancy clothes then went to lounge for an aperitif what only me so 1 jack & coke later we hit Tchoup we waited about 5 min at bar where I had another jack plus 3 soft drinks for family $15 pretty good I thought as I was $10 in lounge for just my jack the restaurant was beautiful only two things I found strange I had to ask too see the wine list and there was no offer of coffee or liqueur after meal they just brought the bill not something I would expect from a restaurant of this calibre but enough of that it was a fantastic dining experience we had two appetizers to share, Dumplings and egg roll very nice, DW had the Kalua pork which she declared wonderful, I had the days special of loin stuffed with crawfish and caramelised sweet potatoes it was beautiful melted in your mouth, DS had chicken and honey mustard he loved it, DD had Fettucine which she wolfed down for desert 1 chocolate strawberries, 1 kids ice cream cookie and I had the special banana Brulee our food was delicious not one of us managed to finish our main course as we all wanted desert apart fro DW but she ended up having a bit of all ours I also had a bottle of house chardonnay wife cpt morgans and coke kids soft drinks total for night $145.91 with tip $175 worth every penny we will definitely eating there again it was a beautiful end to the evening and boy was I mellow I was asleep before everyone else tonight
