The search function is down (again?? still??) or I'd look up threads on this question. Anyway, can anyone give me the scoop on Tubbi's? What types of foods are on the buffet for lunch or supper? I saw somewhere that it is a 24-hr. place. Is there a more limited selection in the overnight hours? Is there a fair amount of seating space? Prices reasonable?

Thanks so much! :D

We love Tubbi's! It is a cross between a food court and a cafeteria. They usually have a large selection of cold foods (chicken salad, turkey, roast beef sandwiches, fresh fruit, salads, etc.) and a decent selection of pre-cooked and cook to order foods like meatloaf, burgers, hot dogs, eggs, etc. We went at all times of the day and night and always found the selection decent. Of course, during peak times there are more choices.

They also have soda, beer, etc. by the bottle as well as all kinds of snacks like chips, cookies, etc. that you can purchase by the bag or box. They usually have a nice selection of baked goods and pizza as well.

There is plenty of seating and I've never seen it so crowded you can't find a seat, but you can always take the stuff up to your room or find a table outside near the pool. Prices are moderately high for what you get...a sandwich runs about $6-$8.

You shouldn't have a hard time finding something you like..no matter what the time. If you wish to pay a premium, the Dolphin has 24 hr room service and they will try to make just about anything you want at almost any time. Ask us...we ordered a banana split after our night at PI.....no big deal...it was up in about 15 minutes!

We loved Tubbis. The had a few selections every day (I can think of the fried chicken) and then other entrees would change. Many times my DH and I would get a child's order of whatever (mac and cheese, spaghetti)The pizza is good. Our family of 5 needed 2-they were $9 each. If you are going to be there awhile, buy the refillable mug. It is $10 and you can refill it during your stay. It saved us a lot!We never ate breakfast there because we were on the CL but they do have Krispie Kremes!

Thanks, Penny and Laurie! You both told me exactly what I wanted to know. Sounds like I'm going to give Tubbi's a try at least once. What a nice and convenient option to have while staying at the Dolphin! And Krispy Kremes? YUMMMMM! :p

Tubbi's is a great place for a quick bite to eat!

Their Pizza is better than Spoodles! It was always freshly made and quite tasty!

See their complete menu here!

Tubbi's is one of the main reasons why we chose Dolphin over Beach Club for our next trip (we've stayed at both). 24 hour **FRIENDLY** service is amazing and they have the best pizza that you can imagine - available to bring right back to your room. And last time when I awoke in the middle of the night I went down with my refillable mug and rehydrated til my tongue was content...Love the Dolphin!!!!

Thanks again, everyone! It's great to hear such positive reports on the place. It's now in the "must try" category. :D

I appreciate all your replies!

The only things we've eaten at Tubbi's is the made to order pizza & two different soups. All were terrific.
