Hi all,

It's been a long time since I've used the Transportation and ticket centre. I do vaguely remember that is was within walking distance from one of the parks. How do I get to the Transportation and Ticket Centre from Port Orleans or from any of the parks? Thank you for your help!

TTC is the big hub area before you actually enter MK. This is where all those who drive have to go in order to get to MK. From there, you can either take the monorail or the ferry to MK. Or you can take a different monorail line from TTC to Epcot.
Is there a particular reason you would want to get to TTC if you are staying at POR? It is much easier and quicker to just take the Disney bus from POR to MK. In fact, those who use their cars while in WDW say that MK is the one park that they do not drive to. The parking lot is huge and you have to take those trams to get to the TTC itself. Then time spent waiting for a monorail or ferry. If you are going to MK and you take the Disney buses, you get dropped off almost at the front gate...closer than the ferry and about the same distance as the monorail station for MK.

The TTC is not walking distance to ANY park. As the previous poster said, it now is the parking lot for MK.

The only WDW busses that use the TTC are the AK/MK busses and the MGM/MK busses. All the resort busses use the bus depot right at the MK main gate. So, if you want to go from MK to another park, you would need to take the monorail or ferry to the TTc and catch the bus to AK or MGM; or the monorail to Epcot.

I stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort for a week in May and I never saw the TTC. I took buses to and from CBR and the resorts, buses to and from DTD, and to get to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue I took a bus to MK and then boat launch to FW. For me, TTC was irrelevant.

I agree with the posters that you probably dont need the TTC but to answer your question, bus to Mk or Epcot,then monorail ( all monorails stop at TTC) or maybe boat to DTD and bus to poly, walk to TTC.

Does anyone remember when the TTC was THE Hub of the World?
So if I understand correctly, now it is only used as a launching point to non-resort guests going to MK and as a starting point for Epcot Monorail. Is that correct?
When you say KM/AK bus and MK/MGM bus are you saying that you would go, for example, from the MK to TTC and would then be able to get a bus to either AK or MGM?

I remember when it was the "hub of the World" ,of course there were only Mk and Epcot, and the only hotels were on the monarail (plus the Disney Inn whice almost was. We stayed in FW and the only bus took you to the TTC. Internal at FW was all trams.
