I'm new to the DIS. I'm trying to figure out if I park at the TTC, can I get transportation to all the parks from there? What time does it start? Is it early enough to get to Epcot by 8:15am if the park opens at 9:00am?

TIA!

Yes, you can get to all parks from the TTC.

Usually the monorail begins running before 8am as folks staying at the Monorail resorts need transportation to get to those 8am Princess Breakfasts at Norway.

Thanks!! So you think the monorail will stop at pick up other guests going to Epcot or are the resort trips express for them only.

At TTC you will find:

Trams to the MK main parking lot
Disney Buses to AK and MGM
Ferry to MK
Monorail to MK
Monorail to Epcot
Monorail to MK Resorts (Poly, GF, CR)
Lynx Buses to I Drive and Downtown Orlando
Off Site Resort Shuttle services including Shades of Green)
Charter Buses (for other groups, etc.)
Taxi's for hire
Walkway to the Poly and the GF
MK Kennel
WDW Main Lost and Found

Express Monorail service starts usually 1 hour prior to park opening and runs until 1 hour after park closing, Resort Monorail usually starts by 7am, sometimes as early as 6:30am. The Epcot monorail also runs a minimun of 1 hour prior to park opening and 1 hour after park close.

The monorail at the TTC to Epcot only goes to Epcot. It doesn't stop at any resorts.

If you take the monorail from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom, there are two to choose from. One only goes to the Magic Kingdom, the other stops at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, and Contemporary before returning to the TTC.

Think of the TTC as the parking lot for Magic Kingdom. Epcot, MGM, and Animal Kingdom all have their own parking lots. I would park at the park you are going to. If you are going to park hop, all you have to do is show your parking pass from the first park and you don't have to pay the parking fee again. Seems like more work to drive to TTC and then monorail or bus to the other parks and then back. Unless, of course, you want to ride Disney Transport!

And if you've rented a car and are staying at one of the Disney hotels, you can park at the parks for free. Just ask for a parking pass when you check in.

Thanks everyone! I didn't know about the receipt, that's good to know.

We are planning on going to Epcot first then MK in the evening. So I figured this way I wouldn't have to move the car.
