TTC thread take 2

I see an OB right now and she was going to refer me to an RE but we decided to give the clomid a try first before doing so

I'll be taking the clomid staring Monday

AF is here. *Crosses fingers* So far, my cramps are a 5 to 6.5 which is still rough, but not a 10 +. That's what they were. I'll take it! Any relief from that pain! Yikes!!!!!

I am coming out of lurkdom!! I have been here reading the thread from time to time when it originally started over 5 years ago but got kinda of depressed since the TTC hasn't worked for me and took some time off from trying.

Anyway I just had an appointment this morning and I am pretty excited. My current doctor was away so the assistant saw me and WOW is she a much better and caring person about the whole process. I am going to see her from now on!! Anyway to give some background I have PCOS and started taking metformin a year ago but yet still no baby. Anyway I am starting clomid this cycle and I am really hopeful this will be what works. Anyway the assistant was so upbeat about it and I guess it rubbed off anyway I am thinking positively. My DH and I don't' share any of this type of conversation with friends and family and I just wanted to have someone else to talk to and I feel like I know you guys so well since I have been following your stories. Anyway Hi everybody!

Afternoon ladies!

So I'm supposed to be ovulating either Tuesday or Wednesday. I know that chances are VERY slim but until we work out the "egg donor" thing I figure we should probably keep on trying. Never know if one of those little suckers desides to comee out and play right? We are going to see the psychologist on Thursday so that they know we are prepared to do this. Financially, it's like buying a house so since we have March coming up and we are saving for that we can wait and save doubley which means at this point we will hold off on picking a donor until I would say mayb September 2011. Sounds crazy and stuff but I'm ok with it. . . Would I love to get it over with, definately! But I want to make sure that we are as financially ready as possible and not get to strained. I figure the only thing that is gettiing older is me since we are using a donor egg and they are all in their 20s!

Big news!!!!!!!

We got the house!!!!!!

We are moving in sometime this fall. It's on the same block as my mom lives, so we won't be moving far. It has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and a dining room! And a HUGE backyard!!!!! It's a rent to own and it's at a great price!!!! Woo-hoo!

Things are really coming together....I can feel big things are coming!

Hi girls just a little update this week was the worst yet I have to say this is worse than my miscarriages or the BFN's I have gotten.
We had a False positive well 2 in fact. The doctor thought it may be chemical and brought me in for some blood work well sure enough the blood work came back negative and I was sobbing like a big baby. Mike was totally disappointed too and we have agreed to put this all on hold until after the holidays (not that we were trying this time) and just do IVF.

Hope all is well and I am still praying for you girls that you will all have BFP really soon.

What kind of test was it?? I'd probably call the company stark-raving-mad! You poor thing. Go have some wine...sounds like you need and deserve it!

It was the doctors strip tests the doctor agreed they were positive but said it could just be hormones making things crazy in my body. I was still on the pill,but late and had a stomach bug. Oh Well

Instead of wine I am having ben and jerry's creme brulee ice cream

oh that sounds divine!!! (the icecream that is)

That's soooo strange about the tests. SO strange! If you ever somehow get more definitive answers on that, let us know. I'm just so sorry you went through that ordeal. It's enough of a rollercoaster without some stupid test falsely getting your hopes up!

Okay... tell me all you know about Fertilaid, Preseed and Yoga. (Especially those who have graduated from here but still lurk) I am sick and tired of just waiting for something to happen. Ready to try something new but not too medical cuz I still really want this the old fahioned way if its meant to be. Should I give it a shot or just wasting my money???
