We won't be able to get a FP for TT next trip and will have 2 newbies with us. We will be in future world from about noon to 2 pm on a Saturday in mid March
Any guesses as to how long the single rider line will be at this time? Also do you still design a car in the single rider line (I'm betting no).

I'd guess 30-45 min. No single rider skips the design studio but if you want to do it then enter through the gift shop and they have a couple design studios in there where you can take as long as you want and build a car

There's a very basic version of the car design available to single rider line users. There are nowhere near the options of the full design kiosks, so we usually skip it.

We typically wait 30 minutes at most in June. We usually get FPs for the ride once on our trip, then do single-rider every other ride (we hit Epcot 4-5 days each trip).

Do you know if you can save those designs on your MagicBand? If so, I'd say do that first, then get in the single-rider line. Skip the design kiosks in single-rider, and the car you designed in the dump area should show up when you scan in at the loading area.

Yes, you can.

Although, technically, nothing is ever "saved ON a MagicBand."
Your car design is saved to a computer file that is accessed BY your MagicBand.
