Are the CMs allowing Guests to "request" the new track?

I always like to see anything that is new.:)

Book a fast pass and you'll get it. The only thing different is the que line.

I wonder how they will handle a wheelchair user with a Fastpass? Currently we go through the regular Fastpass line and then get pulled to the special loading track right before the stairs.

So, how will the third track work? Will it solely be FP+ while the other two tracks are standby? Do we know when TSM will increase FP+ for the third track and how long this increased capacity and reduced standby times will last? I appeared as if FP+ wasn't increased at all yesterday with the low standby times, unless nobody there figured out what was going on.

It's my understanding that the plan is for the new track to be dedicated to FP. I will hope they have a plan to move those folks to another track if it goes down for a bit.

I may be in the minirity - but I would be okay if they didn't increase FP too much - just enough to keep that track hoppin with a less than 10 minute wait - and just had short wait times for stand by - 30 minutes or less like Buzz is most of the time! dare I say we might even get to ride it 2 to 3 times in a day!

We rode TSMM 2 hours after the 3rd track opened on Monday. about 7 pm. Wait time was still an hour. The cast members congratulated us as we got off for being among the first to ride the 3rd track. Otherwise we had no idea.

Wait times an hour after EMM hour was 100 minutes that day. MDE still showed 60 minute wait times yesterday. No fast passes were added, yet.

Might visit today and we'll see

Is there still a flight of steps to go up and down with the third track?

I have read that there are not. You bypass the stairs for a different hallway to the new loading area.

Wheelchairs are still pulled to the original accessible loading platform for the the two original tracks.

Thanks. I'm guessing that they still use the old Fastpass line for this? So wheelchair users go through the normal standby line or the old Fastpass line depending on if they have a Fastpass?

One thing I didn't like about FP for TSMM is that you didn't get to see Mr. Potato Head. Are they addressing that at all?

12:30pm and the posted wait is 40min...actual wait 27! On a day when the park has EMH too...seems the 3rd track is working.

Until they increase the FP+ capacity we should see reduced wait times....for how long is the question.

For all the numerous things they've done wrong lately with cutbacks and price increases, this is an example of an investment that benefits the guest. Hope the lower wait times stick around, wouldn't it be great if the rope drop dash at the Studios became (at least somewhat!) a thing of the past.
