TSM vs Jedi Training under new FP rules?

I was talking to dh about the "procedure" at DHS - you know, one parent runs for TSM fastpasses while the other signs the kids up for Jedi training. DH is concerned about the possibility of the two times conflicting. I told him I've never seen this issue come up... then I remembered FP return times used to be more flexible.

Soooo.... any issues?

The jedi training lasts 30 minutes(includes getting there 10 minutes before show). The FP return window is 1 hour. I think this is why the issue doesn't come up.

Excellent, thanks. You answered the other question I meant to ask, about how long jedi training lasts. It looks like it wouldn't take too long to get from one venue to the other, either.

People have asked this question since they started enforcing FP times. Many responses have been that the person getting the FPs for TSM calls with the FP return time before pulling the FPs to make sure it doesn't conflict with the JT session.

No problem. They showed up right around the time FP enforcement started, but I haven't seen them since.

We just did this, and it wasn't an issue at all. My DH went to get FPs while I took my boys to sign up. He just called me before he pulled them, but I hadn't even gotten to the front of the line yet. If they had conflicted, I think they would have just let me pick a later show. As it was, getting there before 9 am, we were in the 1:20 show, and our FPs were for 10:15-11:15, so there was zero conflict

My friend almost had this issue this week. Her husband pulled 1010 fastpasses and she did 11am Jedi training, not realizing they had to be there at 10:30. they stalked the fastpass line at TSM and got in exactly at 1010 and made it over to JTA just in time.

They made it to DHS by 8:20..so they were early. I know her husband did NOT hustle for FP's for TSM.
