A lot have people have mentioned TSM strategies, but I don't know how the others play into it. My group of 5 has only ever ridden ToT, so they're all excited to try TSM & RnR.

I don't want to ride RnR, so if we get there at rope drop which option would work best for us:

1. I get TSM FP while they ride RnR and we all meet at ToT, then back to TSM
2. We all walk onto TSM, they go to RnR while I get FP for TSM then we meet at ToT and later back to TSM
3. Better suggestions welcome

go to TSM, get fastpass, ride TSM

Then go over to RRC/TOT area and if your fast pass time is up/lines short ride one get FP for other.

In our experience, RRC and TOT will have fastpasses available until well after lunch.

Go with option #2.

You should definitely ride TSM before getting a fastpass.

We went in July last year and did the RnR single rider line. Was only a 5 minute wait, while the standby line was 60 minutes.

Get a TSM fastPass
Ride TSM standby
RNR single rider line
T of Terror FP should be available by the time you do the first 2 items. Now you have 2 FPs to use later in the day. Go to the Great Movie Ride and you won't have a line to wait in for the rest of the day.

Last July, my group used your second strategy and it worked perfectly. You'll definitely want two rides on Toy Story Midway Mania. I know I enjoyed it more the second time.

I think it depends on which one (RnRC, TSM) you might want to do more than once or twice. Since you haven't done either, that might be hard to say!

We did option #1, when our grandkids wanted to do RnRC multiple times, but once on TSM was enough for them.

But option #2 is the way to go for someone who wants to maxmize TSM rides.

Ok, I keep fighting it figuring someone's going to tell me TSM is not worth it, but I'm finally giving up that battle and following everyone's advice.

TSM, FP - then the coasters. I'm just hoping it lives up to all the hype. Then again, Buzz was always the boys favorite ride, so I don't see how TSM could let us down.

Thanks everyone.

Well, RnR has gotten really rough over the years. I'm 6'1" so my head is above the restraint, but shorter people could be in for a brutal beating in the head. Even at my size, my shoulders really hurt after the ride. It's not very re-ridable (is that a word?).

Go right onto TSM. If after you ride you decide you want to go again, get FP. Then head over to the rollercoasters & ride. If you decide you don't want to ride TSM again, then you can get a FP for RNR & only have to ride stand-by for TOT.
