TSM or Launch Bay -- which to do first at opening?

will be going to DHS on the 6th and not sure what strategy to take.

Fast Pass not available for TSM (guess we waited too long to setup).

So wondering if best strategy is to go to TSM as soon as the park opens and then go over to Star Wars Launch Bay to see Dart Vadar and Chewbacca.

Not sure which will be more crowded. but concerned by the time we are done with TSM that the line for Chewy and Darth will be really long.

I do have a Disney Visa so I guess we could see Darth Vadar later when that starts (I think 10am for Disney Visa Meet and Greet?).

Any suggestions from those who have dealt with the same challenge?

Thanks for any insights and guidance!!

Definitely TSM. Darth/chewy waits haven't been over 30 minutes much. TSM will likely be 70+ by 9:30

TSMM for sure. The lines were so long for that ride (pre FP+) .. that I never rode it despite two previous visits to the park because I didn't go at Rope Drop. Finally, thanks to FP+ I got to ride it in August and it was pretty darn fun ride for the whole family.

That is the longest wait in DHS easily. It's one of the few family-friendly rides in the park so everyone rides.

Just want to let you know that you may or may not see Vader. Kylo Ren is coming. He is replacing Vader. All Disney says is Feb 2016.

Thanks everyone!

I will definitely take your advice.

And yes, I heard about Ren replacing DV -- I think the kids will be ok either way since we recently saw the new movie.

TSMM hands down, as everyone above has said.

FYI, we did the Disney Visa DV meet last week with ZERO wait (literally walked right in — we weren't quite prepared for him though, omg, very intimidating!) and then we got in line to meet Chewbacca. A 30 min wait time was posted, I think we waited less than 20 minutes. This was probably around 3:30pm. Meeting Chewbacca was a trip highlight for my family (only moderate Star Wars fans) and it is worth the wait. It seems like the length of his line fluctuated, but it never got crazy (or over 30 min). With TSMM, once that gets backed up the line just gets longer and longer. Get it out of the way first thing!!

Re. your question about the Visa M&G, when we were there a couple of weeks ago it didn't open until 11am. This was about 10:15ish, so we just waited in the regular line. It was posted 30 minutes but ended up being more like 15.

I actually wish Kylo Ren had been there instead of Vader when we went because we were all legit scared of Vader. Did make for some pretty funny shots in MM though.
