Tsk, tsk, VMK...

We all know and love VMK, but is it really what it claims to be? VMK says its an accurate representation of the Disney Theme Parks, plus some virtual stuff. However, VMK is definitely lacking in one major part of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland experience....


Heelies.


Ah, the joys of a Disney World vacation. Laughing babies, screaming Splash Mountain riders, the roar of the BTMRR, a child's first ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and:


"Hey, watch it, kid!"

"Those aren't allowed here!"

"Ouch, I think I broke my gallbladder!"


VMK, where are our Heelies? We demand that we truly experience the magic, and a few scrapes and broken organs, with virtual Heelies! The kids can buy a pair, the adults can buy life insurance, and we can all buy some liability wavers!

Actually go post this on the themeparks forum and you wil find out quickly that Heely's or heelies, or whatever they are called are not permitted in WDW. (yes I know they are all over the place, but they are against the rules)

Have you ever been run into by a child wearing a pair of those things!!!!
my now seven year old was run down by a near teenager two years ago!!!
the kid was being pulled by others running in the park and then he let go and ran her over !!!!

thankfully she was only scared and not hurt!!

not looking forward to that on our next trip!!

I hate those things. When I get to Disney in December, I am tripping all the kids on Heelys - so they better watch out for me and my foot.

I am only kidding ya know.

I was reading on a website about the number of deaths where children and teens died from not be able to stop themselves. The number was not big, but the fact there were fatalities at all is sad.

I have had my legs bruised by the electric sccoters for ppl who can enjoy the park on foot, and I have seen people literally knocked down and run over by these scooters, but I have never been run into by a child on Heelys. I hardly beleive that the Heelys are such a dangerous thing for guests. Actually, if I wasnt such a clutz, (and I could find a pair big enough) I would get myself a pair!
