Is anyone out there a Security Screener at an Airport, if so how hard is this position?????nana2tots

I am not one but I dont believe it is all that hard. You do get trained before you are brought on board and there is always on-going training from that point on. Actually you are tested.
They are also fingerprinted prior to coming on board. They cannot have a disqualifying crime within the past 10 years from the date of the print.

If you have any type of arrest/conviction its always best to put it on the application. Do not hide it. It will show up on the FBI fingerprint results.

One word of advice if you are interested in the position, make sure you are very good with people and do not take everything personally. They get abused by passengers on a daily basis. They are just the little people. They dont have any input on regulations. They just enforce them.
