Just so it's not misumderstood..I didn't say that one over the other was the receiving end...it's a 2 way street. I think anyone who is agravated by another should use the ignore.

Yes, very true. People will grasp at straws to try to present their own personal preferences as somehow more important than they are, in order to try to make it seem like things should be done their way. That's simply not reasonable.

Regular oxygen is OK (on some airlines). . . http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/specialneeds/editorial_1374.shtm#2
Airline policies regarding oxygen can be found at http://www.airlineoxygencouncil.org/cms/?page_id=42
Oxygen generators are different than pressurized oxygen tanks. As it was explained to me, the generators pull oxygen out of the air. It is great to see that they allow POC's now. But you can see from the link above that they suggest that you contact the airlines in advance because you are essentially asking for a reasonable accommodation.
This was not the case 2 years ago when I called around. They said they would not provide oxygen and the pressurized tanks were not allowed. I don't know if it was a TSA rule or the airlines themselves or maybe uninformed customer service representatives.![]()
Yes, those are POC's. Those do not work for everybody on oxygen.
Good thing I haven't done anything of the sort. If you want to discuss the issue, then please do so. If you're just here to join in the effort to attempt to distract attention away from the points that I and others are making, by engaging in self-serving mud-slinging, then please reconsider posting. Thanks.People that disagree with you aren't morons, even though you try to make them out that way.
I'll be more than happy to produce my test results and links to the hundreds of media interviews I did as a profoundly gifted child if you feel you need "proof."

I don't know if the rules for dogs & cats has changed, but when I flew in September I saw a man with a dog. All he had to do was put the dog's kennel on the xray belt to run it through & he carried his dog (without leash & collar) through the metal detector. And that was it. By the way the puppy was too cute looking around & all the TSA peps were nice & smiling.
On a lighter note . . . how about that woman who uses a chair travelling in lingerie and a trench coat? On her first attempt to fly, TSA found some explosive residue on her chair . . . their response? They sent her home. She came back the next day and made her flight. That's some securrity system!
) with her little white dog in her lap.. That's what got me to wondering about security checks on pets..
