TSA Locks

I fly regularly (as recently as last week) and have had no problem with my TSA locks.

At least not anymore than usual. you always have a 50/50 chance of TSA cuting the locks. Luckily they are not expensive anymore and are available allover the place

We have traveled using them and no problem. If you buy them at Brookstone they will replace them if cut.

On our recent trip to WDW from LAX, we noticed this regarding TSA locks: After having your luggage tagged and boarding passes issued, passengers were directed to take their bags to the TSA screener (big Xray unit). Once there, you were asked if your bags were locked or unlocked. If your bags were locked you were required to stay until your bags had been screened. When asked, we told the screener that our bags were locked with TSA locks and they sent us on our way to the gate.

As someone who gets a bit restive waiting in lines, they were a good investment!

I checked my bag locked with a TSA lock back in September and they opened and inspected it and relocked it with no problem. Left their happy little calling card inside for me.
