DH and I are taking my parents to Disney with us this year. It will be their first trip with us. We are on free dining and are looking for good places to take my parents to eat. My dad is kind of a picky eater, he is a meat and potatoes type of man and doesn't venture out of that mold a lot. Right now we are defiantly going to try to do Le Cellier and Yachtsman. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would be grateful. :goodvibes

I know what you mean. My hubby is the same way. He also enjoys Teppan Edo, Ohana, Turf Club, Whispering Canyon, and The Wave. Hope that helps a little.

The Turf Club At SS has great prime rib or steak and potatoes.

Liberty Tree Tavern, Chef's de France, 50s Prime Time, 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, and Rose & Crown all offer enough variety for someone who isn't so adventurous.

Pretty much every restaurant offers some type of steak dish, so you are not really that limited.

Overall less-adventureous choices would include Turf Club, LTT, Ohana (maybe), Le Cellier (2 credits at dinner, though), Yachtsman (also 2 credits), Captain's Grill, Biergarten, Rose & Crown, 50sPT only if he doesn't mind the server interactions, HDDR (2 credits), Trails End (buffet dinner at Ft. Wilderness), Garden Grill.

Raglan Road at DTD - I can recommend the steak -have always subbed the Irish chips (fries)for the mash.

You should look at the menus to check if there is something in his comfort zone. Allears usually has a good updated menu for each TS.

This. I've never seen a situation where you couldn't get something pretty basic, and most restaurants will modify an item slightly - leave things off, etc. Don't let him slow you down.
