We are going Dec 13-21 and want to have a really nice TS dinner for our Anniversary, I need suggestions for an Epcot restaurant.

We ate in Italy in 2006 and wasn't impressed, now I know they changed ownership, but we can get the best Italian food here at home, so we don't want to go there.

DH is really picky, I am willing to try almost anything.

Ditto!!

I think for a romantic dinner, Bistro de Paris is the ticket; if you are set on EPCOT. The Coral Sea and Le Cellier are excellent but rather busy and loud. If you want something a little different, I have always liked Restarant Marrakesh in Morocco.

It would have to be Bistro for me too. Nothing else at Epcot comes close.

Bistro, especially if there are no children in the group. They are one of only two Disney restaurants with no children's menu.

And the times I have seen children there they did always seemed to be at least 7 or 8 years old and well behaved. In other words, the place is quiet.

And the food and service are wonderful.

No children, so that is not a problem, just one really picky husband that's diet includes pizza and meat.

I was thinking Rose and Crown. Definitely interested in all suggestions.

we had our first anniversary dinner at Le Cellier. Cant beat the food and since your DH is picky you cant go wrong with a steak.

What about leaving Epcot through the International Gateway and doing the quick walk over to Yachtmen's Steakhouse or Flying Fish. Both are good and your dh would like either one. We've had 2 bad meals at Le Cellier in Oct and Dec of last year and will not be returning anytime soon. I think Bistro might be to out there for your dh if he's meat and potatoes guy.

Highly recommend looking at the menus on allearsnet.com to see which menu your dh will eat.

I did that, but still can't decide, guess I will have to have him look at it and maybe let him choose one restaurant, since we do have 8 TS credits.

After much, much discussion, DH and I decided on Flying Fish just outside Epcot for our 10th anniversary meal in September. We'd love to have gone to Bistro but we're doing the deluxe dining plan and it wasn't an option.

I find Restaurant Marakessh in Morrocco to be romantic. It is relatively quiet and the tiling is beautiful. But with a picky husband, this might not be the answer. I found the food to be delicious and not unusually spiced, and I am not an adventurous eater.
I know I am in the minority here, but I did NOT like Yachtsmans Steakhouse. We (3 adults) each found our meal to be unacceptable. This was the restaurant I was most excited to try and was very disappointed. I found everything to be way to highly spiced. As an example, my meat came with Horseradish Mashed Potatoes, and although I love horseradish I could not eat them. We each had a similar experience with our meal.
I have enjoyed Le Cellier as well, but it is a bit noisy.
We ate at Teppan Edo in Japan shortly after it opened. I would not recommend it for a romantic meal, but Tokoyo Dining looked interesting.
I think your best bet is to let DH review the menus and pick a number of restaurants that meet his food preference needs, and then choose the most romantic from those options.
Good Luck

BlueZoo at the Dolphin. It's a 10-15 minute walk from Epcot.

Le Cellier, Rose & Crown Pub, Chef de France would all be great choices. While none of these restaurants are very romantic for an Anniversary they all have great food. Have a great Anniversary.
