TS outside a park, appropriate for DS4?

We decided to drive down the day before check-in and get a cheap hotel near the world. Can I get some recommendations for non-park TS that is also appropriate for a 4 year old? We've already got ADRs for Boma.

I was thinking maybe somewhere in Downtown Disney, or one of the other resorts. Don't want to splurge too much! Just looking for an enjoyable, relaxing place that will get our vacation started on the right foot. I was thinking DTD or the Boardwalk area so we could hang around for some fun before bedtime.

Almost any WDW restaurant is appropriate for a 4 year old. Some that came to mind with what you mentioned are Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary, Rainforest Cafe at DTD or ESPN on the Boardwalk. We often begin our trips at ESPN and really enjoy it.

actually i was thinking the same thing. we were hoping of going to the house of blues for the first time this year, and wanted to know if its ok for kids, especially iwhen theres a band playing
