TS or CS Lunch when in Animal Kingdom?

I have a 1:00 ADR for Tusker House but I'm wondering if we should just do a CS lunch and eat dinner at one of the resorts ,we don't have hoppers. We will be there for an AM EMH so the park will be closing early (since it will be in Sept). What would you do?

You may wish to consider doing a cs lunch (Flame Tree would be my recommendation ) and getting TS somewhere else that evening. I say this because AK EMH is pretty restricted. This is because many attractions in the park are animal related and are unavailable during evening EMH, leaving evening EMH activities fairly restricted.

We've always done CS at AK. Flame Tree is really yummy and Pizzasafari is also good if you're in the mood for pizza. Yak & Yeti also has a CS with items similar to what is offered at the TS location and it's a little cheaper.

Eating at Flame Tree is one of our favorites. We love sitting overlooking the water and Expedition Everest while we eat their yummy chicken and ribs.
You could then do a nice table service later that evening at one of the resorts.

We always eat at the Flame Tree BBQ when at AK. The food there is great!

We have always had lunch at Flame Tree while at AK, until this past Christmas trip. On Christmas Eve, we ate counter-service lunch at Yak & Yeti. There was ample outdoor seating & the food was good!

We liked it so much that we've got an ADR there for dinner this July.

The buffet at Tusker House is excellent ! I would keep your ADR.

Our family has always done Flame Tree, especially if you are on the DDP.

You can get the Fruit Bowl as an "entree" and then they let you get a side and a desert, I ordered the rib platter (came with fries) and then my wife got the fruit plate, and then since she wasn't there I ordered the onion rings as her side and I don't remember what either of us got for desert, between splitting the ribs, the fruit, the fries and the onion rings the 2 of us were STUFFED.
