TS Option for a day at Animal Kingdom??

Ok, there is 12 of us, 4 adults and 8 kids (yes, you read that right). Ages 2 - 10.

We are gonna be at AK for a EMH evening, park closes at 8pm. I am looking for a suggestion for a good TS meal for dinner, I don't see any TS places in AK. What TS restaurants (that take the DDP) are close to AK and are good for kids?

Boma at the AKL is a very short bus ride away, and is a buffet. We enjoy it a lot, and there are always standard kids' choices on WDW buffets.

Rainforest Cafe at AK, you can make a PS with Disney Dining

yes, I did think of Rainforest, but they don't take the DDP.

Jiko, at AKL was excellant the last time I ate there. It's a little pricey, but if you are on DDP, then it's a bargain!

You could also take a quick bus ride to the CSR resort, fairly close to the AK. Eat at the Maya Grill, then bus back. You can also do this with the AKL and go to Boma's (as someone else stated).

When are you going? We are going Dec 5-10 and HOPING for either Yak & Yeti or the new Tusker House sit down, hopefully they will start taking ressies soon. AK has limited TS right now

We are heading to AK on Dec 12th which is a EMH day. We made dinner reservations at San Angel Inn in Epcot, but are leaving 90 minutes before our ressie to make sure we get there in time. AK never takes us that amount of time. I love the Boma idea, wished I would have realized how close it was, would have been fun to try!
