Looking for good breakfast for kiddos, doesn't even have to be in AK..we can go before we head out to AK. We are eating dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Haven't eaten there since 2005, but the kids liked it then...is it still ok? :confused3or should I bok an ADR somewhere else for dinner? I have been looking at the reviews, :surfweb:but need some advice. Thanks!

Tusker House, great breakfast buffet! It is a character breakfast so your kids would probably really enjoy it. Plus they have this amazing juice, which I can't remember the name of at the moment that they serve there. My DS wants to go back just for the juice :rotfl2: My only suggestion would be to get an early ressie so you can then hit the safari with a small line right after breakfast.

I second Tusker for breakfast. We really enjoyed our meal there. But I would also recommend Boma at AK, especially for breakfast. It was one of my DSs absolute favs. They had the best bacon EVER and the fruit selection was sooooo good.

I "third" Tusker House and "second" Boma. Two of the best b-fasts in WDW. I always have at least one meal at Boma even if I'm not staying at AKL.

Boma for breakfast. My whole family loves it! My kids DS 8 and DD 6 talk about Boma all the time and ask to go there every day when we are at WDW!

would you consider doing a cs bfast and then an early adr at tusker for lunch? We love eating there for lunch to get a break from the heat etc. Great food. If not- i'd do bfast there

I'll also give a big thumbs up for Tusker House's Donald's Safari breakfast. AK is one park I'd recommend getting an early start. We had breakfast at 8am and the park opened at 9am... No crowds for a few hours. Plus if it's hot, animal viewing is often better in the morning at most zoo places.

I think Tusker House's lunch/dinner buffet is very good too. And Yak and Yeti was also very good (not a buffet). I never thought about Rainforest Cafe because we have them at home. If AK closes early (no evening magic hours), you would be back to your resort or have time to hop to another park and have dinner almost anywhere. We left AK and took the bus to AK Lodge and had dinner there once.
