TS Lunch: WS or Boardwalk

We are planning on doing a full day of Epcot and have dinner at Akershus reserved. Just curious, if we don't go back to Pop for a midday break should we get lunch (TS) at the WS or is there something close at the Boardwalk that we should try? I know Beaches and Cream is close. Last time we went I didn't know about the International Gateway and didn't explore WS that much (my group was worn out that day....can't wait to wander the countries). I know there are plenty of options in the WS but curious if there's something I shouldn't miss (can the kitchen sink be considered lunch?) Thanks.
