TS Kids menu options

Our dining reservation period will be opening soon and I have started looking closer at menus for TS location to plan on where we want to try and get a reservation at. We have gone to WDW a few times pre-pandemic with the kids and I recall the kids menu options being a wider variety. I am noticing that several places don't have a chicken or noodle option. Many only have 2-3 options for kids.

For those who have been recently, are the kids menus a wider variety like normal when you are going to TS locations? Just trying to figure out if I need to really rule several places out or if WDW is still accommodating to kids like they once were.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for? I have a picky kid....but picky in that the only protein she'll eat is beef. (so maybe I just have a spoiled kid).

I feel like even when I went 4 years ago, the kids meals were a few options. Maybe they're a tad smaller but not monstrously so and right now they're probably just focusing on items that sell well due to supply chain/inventory/cost.

We did all sorts of TS from park dining to resort dining and I didn't really have a problem figuring out what she would eat.

The menus online seem to be accurate. The kids meals are pretty much what they were before Covid. You will just have to look at all of the menus, unfortunately. I don’t recall seeing noodles much, except for Mac n cheese and the occasional spaghetti at Italian places.

Thanks all~I recalled most places having either some kind of noodle or chicken dish at each place we went and menus just didn’t seem like that this time around. I always look ahead to make sure there’s something for the kids to eat with minimal complaint. Less stress for me, lol.

I just wanted to chime in that you don't need to limit yourself to looking at the kids menu. Make sure to check out the side dishes and appetizers on the adult menu, too. You may be able to cobble together an acceptable vacation meal--might not be as balanced as at home, but no one will be hungry or stressed.
