I made dinner ressies for two separate nights at Tony's because the only other TS dinner I could find was the Plaza Restaurant? Seriously?! Do you have any suggestions besides Tony's, only 1TS credit (DDP) please. I don't want to leave the park, it's too time consuming. Nothing wrong w/ Tonys, just looking for different experiences and Plaza Restaurant is not my idea of TS. TIA! :confused3

We liked the Plaza much more than Tony's. The only two (1 credit TS) left at MK are Liberty Tree Tavern and Crystal Palace. CP has characters and is a buffet.

Would choose The Plaza over Tony's anyday. Only other options at MK are LTT and CP, we don't care for buffets but we do the breakfast at CP to get in early every now and again. We love LTT for lunch but do not care for the dinner reminds us of a frozen dinner.

You could also head to GF, CR, or the Poly for dinner on the monrorail.

I agree there is Crystal Palace, the character buffet. It is a TS place and Liberty Tree Tavern. Both have excellent reviews.

Haven't been to LTT but it is on our to do list this time around.
And CP will love, do dinner there every trip.

liberty tree tavern is by dar the best TS at MK, IMHO. it is always delicious at dinner, we're trying lunch next time tho :goodvibes

I don't know what the deal is, but I just got the 1st email notification for my thread, and your responses are 2 days old! I forgot about my own post. Will check into Liberty Tree. Now that it's not a character meal I sort of pushed it aside. We did Crystal Palace before, I don't think it was worth going back, really. Thanks for your input!

For the "monorail resorts" there are MANY TS options that are just a boat ride away. We have TS Ressies at Poly, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian when we go in March. Nice way to see these great resorts as well.

Update, so I was ready to make a ressie @ LTT but it said that "your party may be seated at two different tables". What's up w/ that?! I'm going in mid-January, not a busy time. Any comments? TIA!

Yeah, I know, but when we are in the park, it does take a lot of time to get there, eat, get back and the park hours are very short in January. We are doing the char. dinner @ GF at Park Fare, so we'll get to eat at GF. We stayed at Poly a few times ago, so we have done that. My goal for this trip is to do different things. Except for Captain Eo, which in another post of mine, is something we have to do because DH and I went to the grand opening party in 1986 when it opened at Disneyland. Thanks for your input! :thumbsup2

There are only 5 TS restaurants in MK, and one of them is 2 credits.

As for the separate tables...I've seen that turn up on reservations for one. Unless you have a large party I wouldn't worry about it.

I know you dont want to leave the park but honestly depending where u are it may take just as long to get to the contemporary or the poly where the food is much better
