TS Dessert Swap

This may sound silly, but do you think the restaurants would allow my DS 14 & DD 11 to swap their adult desserts for something more kidlike? For instance, at Narcoossee none of the adult desserts would appeal to them, but make you own s'morses or a banana split would.

Anyone have any experience with this?

They allowed our friend to do it at Coral Reef...she was an adult and wanted the make your own sundae. Don't see why any other place should be different.

I have had the Kiddie Kone from Kona and the Campfire Smores at Le Cellier. They didn't seem the least bit surprised at all. I don't think they care.

The Kiddie Kone now renamed the Kona Kone is an adult desert and is not on the kids menu.

Your kids will have no problem. When we were on the dining plan with my girls, they mixed and matched whatever. Everything cost an adult credit, so they don't really care.

I suppose we are one of the rare families where DS who is 14 still eats the same amount & has the same tastes as a child ~ he just eats more often then a child would eat. His stomach just doesn't tolerate a lot of food at once & his taste buds haven't really matured beyond burgers & chicken. Looking at at the desserts they offer in the nicer restaurants there is no way he would enjoy them. Glad they will let him have a kids dessert.
