TS Credits

Is it possible to use any TS credits for CS instead?? We're just not sure we'd want to do a TS meal every day.

Dining plan is a waste of money if you don't eat TS with TS credits. Even "free dining" is a waste of money if you don't eat TS - because you're paying grossly inflated rack rates for the room.. So - either ditch the DP or pick some TS places and enjoy the credits.

Could just go with Quick service or use two TS for signature meals or Hoop de Do takes two TS. we use for character breakfast that only takes one TS but we just like to do that once in a while and then the next trip we will do signatures or dinner shows, Cinderellas Castle and just to mix it up a bit. Is true your paying the rack rate to get the free dining so enjoy them..

This really depends on how many people are in the room.

For example 4 people over 10 in a mod room getting free dinning and using most of their credits at QS is still a savings over the booking the room and paying for the QSDP.
Also they do not want all QS meals, they just do not want a TS every day.

Anyway for the OP:
I can understand only wanting a few TS meals, you do not want to plan your vacation around where you are going to eat. Makes sense to me.

Some places may take your TS credits, but it would be on a case by case, you have to ask.
Obviously it is in Disney best interest to allow it.

You can also ask at the concierge at your hotel for them to covert some in advance and they may, again it is in Disney’s best interest to do this on an even swap.

To answer your question...yes. I've always been able to trade 1ts for 1 cs, and 1 cs for 3 snacks. I've only tried this at our resort food court/restaurant (ASMo, Pop and Contemporary.) I've also seen it done at Cosmic Ray's many times.
