For upcoming trip, in my value resort room will be me, DH, DD5 and DD7. my DD3 is staying w/ my DSister at same value resort (hopefully in adjacent or nearby room!!) since we aren't allowed to have all 3 of my DDs in my own room at a value. For a couple TS meals, Dsister will want to eat with her DH alone, so I will not be eating all TS meals w/ my DSister...BUT DD3's DDP credits are on DSister's KTTW/room.
Before we booked this we were told that we could get DD3's meal credits put onto her (DD3) OWN KTTW card so for the meals that DD3 dines w/ me when DSister will NOT be with us....but we also had the idea that for meals when we do dine w/ DSister for DSister to use some of the child TS credits on her KTTW on two or three of my DDs to compensate for the meals when Dsister (and her KTTW card) won't be with us at TS meals.
Does this make any sense...?
Certainly some of you have gone w/ large groups or extended families and haven't had everything together for all TS meals and have had similar issue...?
so two questions:
1.) will I be able to get DD3's DDP credits on her KTTW card to use when DD3 dines without DSister (in whose room she is staying) -and will I be able to use 2 KTTW cards to pay for those TS meals ...1TS child credit on DD# KTTW and all the others on my own?
2.) would Dsister be able to put 3 child TS credits on her KTTW card at one TS meal when she only has 2A and 1C on her KTTW/room?

TIA!

When we went=- there was 9 of us.
When we dined we used MULTIPLE cards but asked for seperate checks.

For the 3DD ask to put theirs on a seperate check--- and her stuff should be on her card already.

I know ours were- we let out GD use her own card for her snacks

Everyone in the room will have a KTTW card so your DD3 will have one. She'll need it for park entrance, FPs and EMHs as well as dining. She would also need it for opening the room door and charging, but I'm assuming she won't be doing either of these things. :)

When you're not dining with your DSis have your DD3's card with you. When it comes time to pay, specify that the meals for 2A and 2C will be on one KTTW card and 1C's meal will be on the other card. Using cards from 2 rooms will not be a problem.

At TS meals your sister will only be limited to 2A and 1C's meal credits. She cannot use 3 Ckid's credits at one time. By the same token, you won't be able to use 3 C's credits at one time either since your cards will say 2A, 2C on them.

Your DD's card will have the credits for your sister's room, not just your DD's credits. And your sister will have your DD's credits in her card as well. It's important that you specify how many and what type of credits from each card. You don't want the server mistakenly taking out more credits from your sister's card. I hope that makes sense!

we always go as a family of 6 and get 2 rooms, I know loads of people say you cant get more meals etc then what is on the card but in our 4 times of having the DDP i have lost count of the times that the server just took all meals of one room card!
also quite often my mum who had 1 child on her card would take all 3 boys swimming whilst DH and I went out to dinner/parks at night she never once had a issue with getting all 3 kids meals on her card that only said 1 child /1 adult!! and we was there for 21 nights.

Are you all on the same reservation? Meaning, we have 2 rooms booked, for our family of 7, since rooms are linked and on same reservation, all the dining credits are all pooled together.

So, we are there for 8nights, with 2 adults, 3 disney adults and 2 kids. So each card will say 5 Adults (40 CS credits, 40 TS credits) 2 child (16 CS credits, 16 TS credits) and 56 Snack Credits.

It makes no difference who's card we use to "pay" for the meals.

If your reservations are separate, you will have to pay for your child's meal with her card. Which since she is only 3, I would assume you would have her card anyway.
