Hi Folks

I have managed to get an 8:05am seating at TH and an 8:10am seating at H&V and was wondering if these ADR's will get me ahead of the rope drop crowd?

Any experiences with either of these breakfasts?

Would love to know your opinions.

TIA

1) You can get to the eatery.
2) Once done with the meal, you CANNOT wander the parks.
3) So, I think the answer for which you are searching is No.

We had a 8:05 ADR for TH. We werre finished with breakfast around 8:50, but we had not seen all characters until then. We didn't mind and wanted to get on the safari for our first ride. They had a mini rope set up in Africa just after Tusker House. We were waiting there with around 15 other people or so. Once we could see the big crowd walking towards us on the bridge to Africa, our mini rope was dropped and we could get on the Safari ride. I even detoured to get fast passes first and the got into line. We were still the third group to be loaded on the first vehicle. But we were also mooving very fast (not running!) towards the entry once the rope was dropped. So, yes we had an advantage over others, but only by a few seconds! :goodvibes

One tip, if you are planning to do that: ask for the check at the breakfast very early. This way you have that settled and don't have to worry that it may take some time.

This was our experience at TH as well. If you eat breakfast at TH, you will be slightly ahead of the crowds to get to Safari but will be behind the crowds most likely if going to EE first.

We also did CP at 8:05 and were ahead of the crowds at Fantasyland. We finished around 8:50 or so and were able to wait at the internal rope drop by the Castle .

Thanks everyone for your replies :thumbsup2

Rusty Scupper - I wasn't looking to "wander" the park(s), just wanted to know if being in a restaurant in the park before it officially opens was an advantage at being ahead of the crowd of people waiting at the entrance. It sounds like it would be a very small advantage, So, Flossbolna, you have answered that question for me and Thank you for the tip about asking for the check early :goodvibes

For AK, my son loves EE (but is willing to go in the single rider line) and I love KS, and for DHS I wanted my son to experience TSM before it gets too crazy ;)

Now I'm going to think about CP ;) (may be a hard ADR to get :confused3 )

Thanks again,

Carol - iluvwesties :flower3:
