Is it really only Chef Mickey's that have TS onsite before 7:30am? :confused3

We really enjoy a sit-down breakfast on vacation, and this is one of the reason's we use the DxDP as our credits would disappear pretty fast on the usual DP! However, being from the UK, for the first few days the time difference means we get up really early! We always do Chef Mickey's at 7am the first morning (having woken at about 4:30am!!:scared1: ) but after that all the other places seem to have at least 7:30 as their earliest time. I know we can do other things, such as offsite, or CS, but I just wondered if I'd missed something? :)

Are we the only strange ones who like to eat a full early breakfast?

Thanks all :flower3:

I actually didn't know the answer to your question. So I just jumped on the Disney reservation site and looked for reservations starting at 6:30 on May 1st, 2012. The availabilities I saw for 7:00 AM were at Chef Mickey's, Grand Floridian Cafe and the Fresh Mediterranian Market, which opens at 6:30AM (at the Dolphin, so you wouldn't be able to use any TS credits).

that's a great question... i sort of recall having a crazy-early b'fast at cape may when we stayed at the BC, so that might be an option... it's also a quick easy walk to epcot when you're done!

Thanks, both of you!

Wow, that search seems to confirm things doesn't it, OhThePain? Thanks for doing that.

gigi1313, apparently Cape May's first sitting is 7:30, and as we are staying at the Beach Club this time we will do that later in the holiday, when we are getting more sleep and want to just roll out of bed and go and eat!

Thanks, both of you!

Not a problem. Just in thinking about your options with the early breakfasts, a plan I have somewhat came up with you could do early in your trip, until your bodies adjust, could be something like a 6:30 breakfast at the Fresh Mediterranian Market (from what I can see it doesn't seem to be too expensive, by Disney standards, check out the menu online), maybe head to AK that day and have lunch at TH (which may have characters for lunch by then), then when your done at AK, head back for a nap and have a later dinner at Flying Fish or Yachtsmen Steakhouse (both of which will be close to you, I'd go with Flying Fish personally). This will still get you that early breakfast if you feel it's something you may need, spaces out your meals so that you shouldn't feel like your eating all day, gets you into FF, and gives you a chance to rest/relax/nap/swim for a few hours between AK and dinner and still uses up 3TS credits for the day. Of course it doesn't have to be AK, I was just using it as an example.
