OK, we are staying 5 nights....... (so far) LOL, and so, I'm trying to figure out where we want to use or TS meals. I don't have "days" picked yet, our hours are not posted yet, but in general, here is my list so far. I'd like any input, and suggestions on your FAVORITE place to eat. We are NOT doing any breakfast using our TS meals -- if we do breakfast it will be OOP. So, what do you think, and what would you suggest? OH, we have hoppers, so we can eat anywhere.

1. Chef Mickey's
2. Crystal Palace
3. Le Cellier

( We are considering these as well, which would you suggest)
WCC
CRT - dinner/ DS is NOT into the princess thing......... :confused3
50's Prime Time
Coral Reef - it's been changed to 1 TS, so we are considering it.

Any others????? Thanks

OH, and we are staying at AKL for 3 or 4 nights........... would you say anywhere there?? Thanks

i would do wcc and i guess primetime( altough food isn just ok , it is in mgm and the rest aren't so if you want to see fantasmic, it's kind of a waste to run back and forth for dinner...
it does somewhat depend on what park we are going to be in/around as to where we make dinner adr...so if you are going to be around Mk for 3 days, the wcc, cm and cp are convenient but not if you are coming from epcot or akl to go to them. none are close to akl so don't know what you plan on doing after ak...they would all be a drive from there. if that is all you are doing for that evening it is different than if you want to do something else afterwards.

Right, I know, it's hard to decide on which days to do what, since the hours aren't posted...... but we will plan it accordingly when we find out what the hours, etc... are.

We are planning so far --

Day 1. MK - Chef Mickey's
Day 2. Epcot - Le Cellier
Day 3. MK - Crystal Palace
Day 4. MGM -
Day 5. AK/MK-
Day 6. not sure, prob. MK

The first 2 days we'll be at POP, then switch over for the last 3 days to AKL. I've heard varying opinions on Boma or Jiko.......... not sure we'd "like" the food. As for "traveling" to eat............ we really aren't too concerned about that, as the parks will close early in Jan./Feb., so it doesn't really matter if we have to go somewhere else to eat.... I mean, we'd like to schedule EMH into the mix, but I think right now, just general ideas are all we can really go with.

What is anyone's opinion on CRT for dinner?? I'd love to try it, but DH is interested in Coral Reef. Also, 50's PT, most people like it, but is it worth a TS meal?

Thanks!!!

On our recent trip our best and favorite TS meal was at the Concourse Steakhouse. Our waitress was very accomodating and let us choose 2 appetizers if we wanted instead of one appetizer and one dessert. The kids also got to choose appetizers off the adult menu.
Excellent choice for us!

You didn't ask for this but a suggestion for a CS meal would be the food court at the All-Star. Dh and I had cheesestaks and then were able to get a banana split from the ice cream stand (they even let us come back for it later on because we were full. they stamp your receipt and as long as you come back the same day, you could come back later for it.)

I'm another for Concourse. It was our favourite meal. My son (DS13)asked about the drink with the lighted icecube. Waiter said it was too late since he had ordered the pop, but a little bit later brought him the special drinkand said he was able to change the bill. DS13's face was priceless. Also it is only a monorail ride from MK(and if you are lucky you can ride with the driver)

My boys 14,13 and 11 found Whispering Canyon too noisy--I think after a busy day they just wanted to wind down, but it was enjoyable. The meals are HUGE. My son looked at his appitizer-nachos- and said that that could be his meal. We took food back to our room in a shopping bag. This is one place you could easily split a meal(as long as it wasn't the all you care to eat skillet)

We ate at H&V at Studios and the food was good--much like Chef Mickey's without the characters. Chef Mickeys was a lot of fun

Thanks everyone!!!

Mikesmom, I have been seriously considering doing our CS meals at some of the resorts. I've heard that Pepper Market is awesome. We are staying at Pop & AKL, and I've also heard that Mara is excellent.

BigMac, DH really wants to try WCC, he's thinking the Skillet, and bottomless shake are right up his alley!!! LOL Did you enjoy the food?

We've never been to Concourse........ where is it? How many TS credits is it? DH LOVES his steak.......... so this may be a good choice for us. We have been to the Yachtsman, but, we want to try new things this time. We've never been to the other 3 parks together. I've been to Epcot and MGM, but it was years ago......... so, we want to maybe try things in those parks........ i.e. Le Cellier...... What is the best TS at MGM???? We thought DS would enjoy 50's?? I'd like to do Fantasmic........ but not sure if DH would want Mama Melrose....... is it good Italian? Not sure about the other rest. that does Fantasmic. I need to read up on all this.......... there is just so many options, and things to do......... it's hard to decide. Then once I think I've made a decision, I see something else........... :confused3

I do appreciate anyone's advice!!! Thanks so much!!!

Concourse is in the Contempory--right beside Chef Mickeys. It was our fave and if you like steak, this is definately the place. Deserts are great too. HD and I had creme brule and 2 of our boys had a special cheesecake that they still rave over. It is 1 TS.
