So this will be our 7th trip to Orlando and we've finally decided to go to Universal for a day. Our kids are 12 & 4. I was planning on getting the 2 park one day passes or if I can't get those the 2 park 2 day passes and I'll just save a day for our next trip.

So here's my biggest questions...

Is there a difference in Park attendance on let's say Dec 21 or Dec 22? Is one better than the other? Or it's all the same and it doesn't really matter which day we go?

Next...Transportation to US/IOA? We don't rent cars because we really don't need them. I was planning on getting a town car to get us to the airport and back. I've heard that Mears has a shuttle. But I'm not a huge Mears fan. Do the towncar services also have "WDW to UA/IOA" packages?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I researched this same question bec/we will be there the same weekend as you trying to do a US/IOA trip too. Mears seems to be the only one right now with a specially designated route for $14pp each way (I think) from WDW. Since WDW has three rental car locations, it's cheaper to rent a car for the day from one of those locations once you use the strategies at mousesavers.com . My understanding is that you can have your hotel arrange shuttle transportation to the on-site rental locations. I believe the other shuttle services would run this route, but none I could find have a special price/route posted other than Mears.

Maybe we could carpool and rent a really big van for the day!

Can't help with transportation questions. We were at UO last year for 12/20-12/23 and crowds were not bad. We stayed on site, though, so I cannot say for sure what the regular lines were like.

I will be there this year again and I could not tell any difference between the 2 days last year. Christmas and the week after are different stories!:crowded: :crowded: :crowded: :crowded: :crowded:
