Trying to use Tiffany Towncar but need two car seats

My daughter, her husband and two kids are landing at midnight. They are traveling with a 3 year old and a 7 month old and we were planning on booking Tiffany for luggage assistance and to just make the exit from the airport a bit faster at midnight! It is their 1st time flying with the kids.
However, looking on their site at rates and vehicle size options and I also called to ask they said the only thing they have to fit two car seats is a full van which is $300 round trip.

Everything else they have will fit one car seat and one booster but the 3 year old is still too young for a booster. I find it shocking that their mini van rental won't fit two adults and two regular car seats. Many families travel with two regular car seat sized kids.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this or other option ideas other than using the bus after all because I think $300 is a bit steep for transport.

just guessing the luggage may be the problem with the minivan more than the 2 carseats. most minis do not have a lot of storage behind the third row of seats and you will need all 3 rows with 2 carseats

Nope, when I called it wasn't a luggage issue they said they only do one regular car seat and one booster in a mini van ($215 price) but to get two regular car seats you have to do the much bigger van which holds TEN adults! which even the guy on the phone said is way more then you need. But they have no other car seat options.
I just think it's odd I've never read about this being an issue since many families have two kids that are regular car seat age.

Can you use the 7 months old's carseat on the plane if you got them a seat? Or the older one?

Ok, I'm updating this in case someone ever needs this info. LOL

I called back and found out we can do the minivan ($215) that they list as having one booster and one regular car seat BUT we won't use the booster we will have to bring one of our own car seats from home. They literally just only provide that configuration for that size of van. the only way to get the configuration of two regular car seats is to upgrade to the full 10 passenger van which seems crazy to me!
But the guy I spoke with said they will just remove the booster that our child is not old enough for and place our one car seat that we are bringing into the mini van and then also use one of their reg. car seats as well.
I haven't booked this yet I am going to ask my daughter if she thinks the bus may just be easier in the long run. It's the late midnight arrival that made us think the car service would be easier/faster.

Something must be going on with Tiffany Towncar. We have used them in the past (last time was January) and they provided 3 car seats in a Suburban for 180 round trip. We tried booking them for this upcoming trip and after 3 phone calls where someone said “someone will get back to you” and never did I gave up on them for good. They went from top notch customer service and good prices to neither.

I think I've seen previous posts where they're really booked up. We're using them, but we only need 1 booster, and we're bringing a mifold anyway for uber/lyft in park.

It isn't a booked up situation. I called and talked to them and didn't even give my dates and they just told me what their car seat "rules" (for lack of a better word) are. The guy was very nice said the 10 passenger van is way too big for only our two adults and two kids but that's the only vehicle they do two car seats in.

I’ve had to call Tiffany Town Car twice because of flight time changes and both times they were very helpful and professional. Both times I received an email with the changes, right after hanging up. There are 10 of us and they are providing a car seat and two booster seats In the van.

Did you call them? The last time we used them (in the same boat as you) we just called them and they made sure to have two child seats for us.

Edit: I see you did. Weird.

yes I've called twice. Also apparently getting boosters isn't the hard part its getting more than one regular car seat. Can only do more then one of those if I pay $300 for a 10 passenger but yet I only have two adults and two kids.

There are two rows of seats, right? So, you would think that a car seat and one adult per row would be sufficient? I'm guessing it's the luggage issue.

Likely no one is allowed to sit in the shotgun-seat next to the driver.

That would be a change from earlier this year when I sat in the passenger seat.
