Trying to replace one ressie with another on MDE!?

i have been trying to replace a few of my reservations. I have had two come up now in the last week that I have wanted and when I go to book them it tells me I already have a reservation at that time. When O cancel that reservation to replace it with the new one it not only cancels my existing reservation but also kicks me back onto the reservation screen and I lose the new reservation too! Is there a way to replace one ressie with another!?

Hmm. That is a problem. I would try calling instead. It may work better.

Thanks goofeygal! Could anyone tell me what should happen when I try to replace one reservation with another since I have never had it successfully happen?

If the number of people are the same as the original ressie, it should work. I did it earlier this week. I moved a ressie from 8:35am to 8:20am and it told me there was a conflict but allowed me to replace the new one with the old one. When I tried it with a different number of people it wouldn't let me and I had to call.

Yes, same # of people so maybe it was a fluke. I just wanted to make sure you could replace instead of canceling. Thank you!!!

When I tried on the computer to replace one with another, a screen popped up telling me to call to cancel the current reservation but when I used the app on my phone I was able to cancel one right away to pick up the new one.
