I have some very old silverware actually better put---silver plated flatware

that Id like to try to sell on ebay

however on some of he pieces its really hard to make out the small print of the manufacture

I tried with a LED light and still couldnt make out anything

does anyone have any ideas on how I could figure this out

thanks for any tips or comments

Hi, could you post a picture of the flatware maybe someone on the Dis, might know the manufacture and or even pattern.

thats a real good idea--however im not sure how to post a picture--I tried once and someone on here helped me

I could only go so far with it but they got it to post--but that was quite awhile ago

could you tell me how to post?--Im not good with computers though

thanks again

and happy thanksgiving

go to a site that sells vintage flatware and find your pattern-I did this with old dishes I had and glassware also

I usually use the camera on my cell phone and zoom it in. It doesn't work well to take a picture but works great to see small print.
